I made a decision to try one other publisher, one which had been in business for almost sixty years. In lower than three weeks I obtained a letter requesting that I submit the complete manuscript. No American publisher had requested to read the complete manuscript. Thus far so good. Then came one other letter a number of weeks later with a suggestion to publish my novel. My wife and I celebrated that night with a bottle of champagne. There was nothing for me to do but wait for somebody, maybe an editor to get in touch with me.
